Whatever major brand hollow point defensive load I can find. I've looked at a lot of tests, read a lot, seen a lot of pictures. I test fired the Glasers into phone books and simulated walls years ago. I finally decided that I couldn't say that one load was statistically better than any other.
That being said, I won't carry any load that I haven't fired at least a box of through my carry gun without a jam.
As far as target shooting ammo for pistols whatever is cheaper at walmart or academy or the local gun show or the range. I don't shoot enough to worry about a dollar difference in price... Rifle ammo is different though.
Do you buy ammo online? If you do. What site do you use? I've always hated buying online unless I know I won't get ripped off. Fucken Ebay. I try not to buy things from online shops unless I know someone who has bought from them before.
winchester white box from walmart or remington bulk packs from academy for 9mm, at the office range they use either winchester target or Speer Lawman target for 9mm.
Winchester Ranger 230gr SXT (RA45T) as a defense (read as lawyer) load, other than rimfire I reload everything else. I load 9mm, 38/357mag, .45Colt, .45ACP, 7.62x39, .303Brit, .30-06, 3 different .308's and .30 IHMSA. Most of my firearms have never fired factory ammo.
Last month I picked up 2,000 rounds of 9MM wolf/1,000 rounds 7.62X39 wolf and 820 rounds of 223/5.56 PMC i guess Im good to go for a sunday afternoon shoot
