I have one of each, but they aren't for sale.

Paul beat me out of my second-to-last G19. The sole survivor has been with me since 1992; I'm keeping him.

I WILL rent it and/or the AAC kit to you though... for some Mekong Match... :D

    .

lol, I might hit you up for that if I get one but not the other. :)

LSP, you don't need that G19... you have all those HKs.

I am surprised you don't feel bad about conning me on that HK/Glock deal. I was clearly sleep deprived... anyone rational would have traded two g19s for a P7

Gosh, that house G19 sure does have uncomfortable grips...doesn't it?

You should sell it to me. :D

I taught a chick how to shoot with a G19 the other day.

    Pretty good shot, too.

She's the one on the right. Savage2288 is on the left:

    $30ish per 1,000rds vs $170 per 1,000rds.

I'll shoot 1,000rds a day easy when pinking, working on trigger reset, and practicing off-hand.

    It's just worth it IMO.

    I'm not rich, Richie Rich!

We mostly shoot the AK-74's b/c they are apx $130 per 1000rds instead of apx $200 per 1000rds for the AK.

I usually only shoot a couple hundred every couple weekends. Its cheap after the major investment up front...for a rifle.

IMO .22lr is the best training round for pistol or rifle.

I suppose you have a point about its cost effectiveness. Just for me i like to train and practice with something as close as possible to what i would normally be shooting out of the gun so the feel and response of the weapon is the same everytime i go to fire it. Just my opinion. Just going from the 9mm to .45 is night and day. But my guess is the difference on a 9mm and a .22lr are much closer. And just for plinkin i totally see where the fun factor could be. And again your a fun guy to shoot with and that home made AK is a kick to shoot. If i see a kit ill scoop it up for ya.
