i had a rossi .357 back in the very early 90s. it was my first non .22 handgun. i had no complaints except i let it sit on the gun rack for a very long time and one night i hear something go bump in the night outside, i grabbed the rossi .357 and it would not **** back cause of no oil and/or rust. just keep that wheel oiled.

i really wish i kept it just to have it today.

i recently bought a rossi crack barrel .22lr/20 ga. and its a p.o.s. imo so i don't know if all rossi guns today are junk or not.

I have a 3" Rossi Model 68 that I bought used back in the early 90's that has been a great gun. Never a problem with the many hundreds of rounds I've put thru it.

I hope the new ones are just as good.

Yeah, their decent guns for the price and is backed by Taurus. I think it's actually made by Taurus or at least in their factory. Better than putting a Davis or Lorcin or Raven...etc. in your truck, that's for sure.

Cool, I am really thinking about getting this and a few speed loaders now.

Can you shoot +Ps in it?

Rossi's have had their ups and downs.

Some are great, some take 2 fingers to pull the trigger (And other issues)
(I have no idea what their current quality is)

    Can't beat a Smith though.

Go for it, never had a problem with mine, felt confident enough in it to give to my mother to keep handy. Newer ones are made under Taurus ownership, so quality control is reported to have gotten even better.
