Agreed. I use 9 shot target loads in the little snake charmer I have because it’s the cheapest thing on the shelf and it will cleanly remove the head of any snake in these parts. Ok, maybe not so clean. For shooting out of a shotgun?? Or a handgun (Judge or similar?). I was in Cabelas a few weeks ago, and there were quite a few boxes of .410 on the shelf. Anything should be suitable for snakes, #6 or 7 1/2 shot would do just fine.
If Bass Pro is close to you, they should stock the same as Cabelas.Thank you! I usually use a single shot shotgun for snakes. Literally just have trouble finding .410 anywhere lately. Almost stepped on a monster moccasin last weekend and need some new rounds
Jeezers! Don’t step on snek!Thank you! I usually use a single shot shotgun for snakes. Literally just have trouble finding .410 anywhere lately. Almost stepped on a monster moccasin last weekend and need some new rounds.
I saw the $38 a box Tungsten Turkey loads. I passed. Ha haI saw some at academy. 30 bucks a box. Will just use the 12 gauge at ten a box. No use spending more for less shot
