You can get a non-Lady smith version of the 3913 and you can find other S&W models with lady smith on them.

yes but the lady version cooks your dinner at night and gives you a back rub... It also nags you when you don't cut the grass though...

yes it is the 3913 LS and then Smith came out with the 3913 NL (non lady) for the ones that complained about the Lady Smith Logo on the slide.

No, the Lady Smith is just one version of the 3913/3914. There were many versions with different safeties, no rails, 7 or 8 round, blued or Stainless, etc.

The Lady Smith had a strong side safety, the engraving on the slide and a soft sided pink and black bag. It was to market the firearm to ladies, not to satisfy those that complained about the logo.

I have a 3913 NL. It looks just like the LS model, just no "Lady Smith". I am the second owner and the guy that had it before me even swapped out the gray grips with black ones. I will see about getting a picture posted on here tonight.

The 3913NL hit the market 3 months after the Lady Smith banner version. The NL stood for "New Look".

The 3913NL is the 3913LS configuration without the logo, I won't dispute that. The 3914 is the same configuration as the 3913LS without the logo and blued (You could also get a 3914LS). The 3913 also came in other flavors, like just the plain ole 3913 and the 3913TSW (Tactical Smith & Wesson).

The 3913 can be had in many flavors, especially the ones that came from the custom shop.

I really want a 3913 or 3914, I have been looking at them for a couple years now, I just never jumped on one, the nice ones are usually $600+. I might settle for a 6906 one day, but I would rather the single stack.

They are nice; I have had several of both type 3913's.

    They all needed "trigger jobs".

My daughter still has the one that I gave her about 20 years ago. Not for sale, though.
