S&W is my first choice but open to others
.357 is preferable but will consider .38s
    2" or less barrel
May be willing to trade for a Gen 3 Glock 21
    New or used
Located in New Orleans and prefer FTF sale

I forgot to mention locks are at the back of the list, after Tauruses.

No. It needs to fit in my pocket. Put up some pics though because I may be interested anyway.

Also, I do not want to ship or have something shipped to me. FTF only.

Just saw the latest Cabela's ad on 9/30. The 642's are going on sale for 449.00. less the 50.00 rebate and the tax would put you at about 439.00 for a brand new J frame.
So if no one comes through that could be an option..

Thanks bud I will check that out. Academy has them for 450. I just really do not want my Uncle to know I have a gun. I also really do not want it to have a lock. Those locks scare me.

If you ever get over your scare of the dreaded lock, let me know cuz I may throw my Smith 442 in the mix. Looks like a Smith 442 in the S&W website. 38+P w/1 7/8"bbl. Lock has never failed on me and I don't see it happening anytime soon. However,I do respect your preferences...just tryin to see if I can help.

And I appreciate it very much. There was some company that the locks on their guns were causing them not to fire when they were supposed to. I would rather stick with the 20+ year old revolver I have because I know that will always fire. The problem is it is 20+ years old, and my grandfathers, and I really do not want to carry it any longer.

Ruger sp101 357 mag. $400 Let me know.

I think that will be a bit too big for my pocket. Maybe an LCR?

Figured out the picture thing. Enjoy.

Thank you for posting the pictures. Nice gun. How many rounds? If I find a small revolver I may look into a bigger .357 down the road.

    I have a 60-9 with a 2" barrel. I haven't found a .357 round I can fire w/o wicked recoil, even the short barrel/low recoils. I carry it in my car with +Ps.

    It's fun to shoot it with .38s and +Ps, but it's more than I want with .357s. I wouldn't rule out +Ps.

Are you selling it? I might have to just get a .38+P. Just wanted to carry it with .357 and practice with .38. I could put .357 in it and carry extra .38s because they are a bit shorter.

Anyone else? I might have to order one from a gun store. Even most of the pawn shops around here do not have S&W, and none of the J-frames they have are .357s.
