I'm the second owner. I used the scope on two separate occasions and found it to be very accurate. It doesn't appear to have signs of heavy use. I'll include some hi resolution photos for you to judge. It mounts directly on the handle of an A1 or A2 handle. This is the description of this scope from a website that still sells them "
The MARKSMAN ELITE Riflescope is specifically designed for use with the standard M16A1/A2 rifle and the AR-15. The sight reticle is brilliantly illuminated by daylight, moonlight, or in low light by an optional "lamp attachment". The lamp attachment is powered by a single long-life MR-44P mercury battery. The B.D.C. scope is lightweight and features 11 precision ground lens elements that produce a bright and clear sight picture. The scope has a built in Bullet Drop Compensation (B.D.C.) system for the 5.56mm cartridge. After the scope is zeroed for 100 meters, the B.D.C. may be set for any range from 100 to 500 meters and the round will hit the point of aim without any holdover. The scope can be repeatedly removed and re-installed on the same weapon, without a need to rezero. Available with your choice of M16 or dovetail mount.
