    bring myself to mount a red dot on my Ruger MkIII Hunter. I went to Cabelas and bought a Trueglo 40mm red dot. Unscrewed the three screws out of the pistol to mount the factory rail and stopped. It just didn't feel right. Bringing the unopened sight back today. I'm just too much of a pureist. Am I nuts or what...

    Hey... if I can put one on a $2000 RRA bullseye DM pistol, you can put one on a lousy Ruger... :D

    Wait until you cannot see the sights clearly without your bifocals (which make the target invisible). THEN you will lose your elitist purist attitude in a hurry... ;)

    I went to precision today and had a blast with the irons. I can understand using a red dot to compensate for vision deficites. My vision ain't getting any better. I'm gonna savor using the irons for now knowing there is a red dot in my future. Your next step will be Viagra. Then Depends. :mamoru:
