    That’s bad ass, but there’s a plus to gradual cutting when doing a rescue. You would have to plan every cut well and be prepared for every reaction

    The only advantage of this unit is if the extrication was inaccessible to available truck-mounted hydraulic units.

    A gas powered portable system might be unwieldy to carry to a remote scene, but it can be done.

    All our cutters/spreaders are portable gas units.

    Also, there are battery-powered extrication tools that would be better than this - they provide a gradual and controlled action rather than an all full power or nothing approach.

    IMO, this type of cutter would be best suited for small volume scrap yards
