Absolutely correct here in Lake Charles---IMOJust head off the Lome Depot or Howes. If you want it done well try an Ace.
Just add a really long suppressor!I want one to make an NFA Cane gun with.
The Zip looks neat. Years ago, had a Hi-Standard in 22LR - didn't like it much then, but as a novelty somewhat like your Zip, wish I still had it.Novelty for sure, and if you like the odd ball guns that probably won't stay in production long, you might want to look at it.
The fire control system consist of a spring loaded T shaped striker/trigger unit that is pulled straight back until your finger is forced off the "trigger" by a hump in the grip. Saying it another way, as you pull the trigger back, the hump forces your finger down the face of the trigger until you lose contact with the trigger. At that point the striker/trigger flies forward with enough energy to ignite the primer.
They offer a threaded version as well.
I put the Altor in the same category as the USFA Zip Pistol that I wish I had not sold, but at least the Altor does function as designed!
