I don't like the cloud-stored video, considering you can't email clips when it detects something or save it to your own cloud storage. With it not being weather sealed, it limits it to INDOOR use. It's limitations on Motion Detection are kindof a downer as well. I don't think extending my Alexa microphone for $120 is worth it (Basically all it would be doing for me... but that's just me.
These Cameras are AMAZING... auto zoom... CRYSTAL clear... wireless... internal DVR... and still cheaper. $115.
I am not a fan of the subscription model so the $200 per year isn't something I'd personally go for. I'd get some setup that saved the surveillance footage locally. Is there a particular set of features you are looking for?

No, we already have a huge camera setup with 2+ months of DVR. I just saw this today and it looks pretty good for an indoor camera to supplement people's outdoor setups.
IoT stuff is getting hacked daily. I don't know if Amazon did the dev work on this themselves or it is just Amazon slapping their name on a chinese made cam. If it is the latter case then you would jus tbe creating one more zombie device on some russian hackers botnet.
Hmm, no, not worth it for me. I have more expensive local NVR cameras that outperform. I can pay Amazon a little more to save it on AWS where I Control it.
