let me just say bidding on this stuff is more of a pain than one would think....

the brass usually requires a $10,000 deposit
(I've tried in the past getting a group of people to put up the money together, but always falls through)

once you do win, there are only certain days and times you can pick it up. there is usually a 5 day window of specific dates that items can be picked up.
Ft Polk shuts their doors at 2pm, no pickups after that

of course gas, vehicle big enough (some bids require open top truck (dump truck)

they don't ship, so be aware of that.

if the item requires an EUC, it could be months before you get it. I won a bid 3 months ago and am still waiting to get approved to go pick it up.

here's the kicker. I had them mess up my paperwork for an EUC, they said certain papers weren't submitted in time, they "suspended" my account, so I could not log in. i proved to them it was their fault, but they still charged me $30 to "unsuspend" my account, since I didn't have the approval yet to go pickup the items, the time frame to go pick up was over, so my items were considered "unclaimed" by me. and I was still charged my winning bid... they don't care.

if any one bids on items from this site, I urge you to READ THE TERMS AND RULES.

    Nola, well said.

They have my current ECU all screwed up too, we'll have to wait and see.

Brass, I put up 10K on a 7500lb lot of brass. That crap went for 19K !
The scrap price is only going to get you 11K, the commercial houses drive it through the roof
