This project has been in the works for a couple of years. I wanted to keep the original barrel in tact, so the search for a second barrel started. After about a year of with no luck High Standard agreed to sell me a replacement barrel since they put the gun back in production. Well the new barrel did work out to well. Even with Lloyds help it would not work. I managed to find an original barrel on gunbroker and then the wheels were turning. How do you put a can on a barrel like this?

I asked Mike at Tornado Technologies if he could extend and thread the barrel. He was good to go. Here's what he did.
Threaded the barrel for an adapter that extends the barrel

Live firing test will be Saturday after the steel match in Thibodaux. Wish me luck.

Live fire test was excellent. Although video is a poor representation of the true sound experience, you get a general idea in the video.
