Yep, the TLR-1 usually stays on my duty G17, but I had to take it off to use that kydex holster and the carbine had some empty rail space so I put it there for the day for safekeeping. I havent gotten a dedicated light for it yet.

Acogs are nice, but I cant have an optic that costs more than the weapon its on... especially on a work gun. I'd play hell getting compensated for that if its damaged on duty. a $330 Eotech might be easier to swallow

eotech 512 for me, can't beat the bang for the buck. i've shot with aimpoints, acogs, cmores, and i still love my eotech.
