Any experience with Birchwood Casey RIG?

Looking for info on long term use of Birchwood Casey RIG to protect from rust etc. what was your experience with RIG or other products meant to preserve/protect and longer term storage? Underground store age experience

Sounds like you need a recipe for cheap DIY cosmoline. Linseed oil, mineral spirits and gulf wax or toilet wax rings. It’s an outside job for sure but if you’re talking about underground, this and the right containers will outlive you.
FYI: the mixture also acts as a great wood preservative that will rival Thompson’s Waterseal.
