I just bought a new boat and I'm not new to these lakes but I've never been able to just fish where I wanted since I always went with someone else. Does anybody have any tips or areas to try bass fishing. You don't have to be specific just general area north side of the etc. Baits or retrieves to use.

I was there last weekend. We went fishing from a private pier on the south west side of the lake and caught some pretty big catfish using worms and fishing about 4 feet under a cork and just letting it sit. I didn't have my tackle so I couldn't even try for another method to catch bass but it nothing else catfish are an option out there.

Also, the mayflies were pretty bad out there. Just be prepared.
