    LA State Legislature site shows that it has already been considered. Anyone know the results?

    HR387 was deferred to another day, due to HR27 running so long

    HR27 was passed out of committe to go to the full house.

    HR387 was deferred to another day, due to HR87 running so long

    HR82 was passed out of committe to go to the full house.
    :confused:

    Well huzzah for 82, but I am far more concerned with the attempt to demonize a whole class of weapons than I am with goings on at college...

    :mad::mad::mad:

    ETA: Sorry, getting HB82 and HB27 confused... I still don't understand why HB387 was deferred. How long does it take 15 people to say "HELL NO!"?

    This seems to come up every year, thanks to the Representative Richmond who sponsors it...and every year it fails to get out of committee.

    The chair of the Criminal Justice committee, Representative Wooten, is a true supporter of 2nd Amendment issues. I'd be really surprised if HR387 doesn't die in committee again this year.

    It **** me off that people can keep bringing the same crap before the Legislature repeatedly only to be shot down and repeated again. Waste of our tax dollars.

    Sorry at guys...

    HB387 was deferred to another day, during the talk about HR27 (Capmpus Conceal carry).

    now.. HB82 that was a waste of paper to make something MORE illegal, just like HR312
