Yes, you must openly carry any weapon except a handgun with a permit in LA. We are trying to change that.

Can one of you guys help me with this, cuz I dont wanna get in trouble for it one day.

I have a rusty machete and a big piece of All Thread with a wooden handle Behind the seat in my truck. Can I get some kinda ticket or something for it If i get pulled over and searched?
