Do they (I mean they as in anyone) make ballistic tip projectiles in these calibers? I seem to recall seeing some loaded somewhere in both with the red tipped nosler ballistic projectiles. I assume that since the russian round is 7.62 diameter that standard 7.62/.308 projectiles would work. Just not too sure about the .303.

I've always been a .303 fan and have read a lot about reloading for it, but haven't started yet. Surplus has always been too cheap for playing around, and my rifle likes the remington stuff for hunting. I've got a jungle carbine that isn't overly accurate anyway (but still fun to shoot). Neck sizing only seems to be the way to go for accuracy. I don't remember seeing .311 or .312 sized noslers anywhere, or any other match rounds. Someone mentioned paper patching an undersized (6mm?) round? There are gas check molds out there in the right sizes but I'd worry about leading. Let me know if you find anything.
I just recently got a rifle in 7.62 x 54R and haven't even fired it yet so I can't help you there.

    3wbdriver,

Thanks for the info. I was looking for something more along the line of the following round.

Not sure if there is much of a difference in terminal performance, I just prefer the polymer tipped rounds for some reason.
