Anyone missing a boat???

Someone dropped off a boat in the woods behind my mother in laws home in Gibson. It has no motor or control, and no trailer (it's just sitting on the ground). It had to have been dropped off in the last week because I was back there a week ago and it wasn't there. It is on her property, but there is an oilfield road that runs across her property. I contacted TPSO and they took the numbers down, but they didn't send anyone out to check it out. The registration numbers are LA 4524 BD. It is a blue MonArk Bass Boat. Looks to be in good shape. We just don't know if it is stolen or just abandoned. I don't see anyone just abandoning a boat like that though. So if it is your's or you know who it belongs to, please contact me ASAP. i found one years ago. called the BRPD, they said it was not stolen. 2 weeks later, contacted LADWF and it was stolen.
call wildlife and fisheries.

Too bad its not still with the boat. At, what $3/hundred weight you could rent a crane/truck to get it to the scrap yard and still walk away like a bandit.
