    M-16A1 Full Auto
    M-16A2 Three Round Burst
M-16A3 Had the M16A1 fire control group
M-16A4 Has a removeable carry handle and some rails on the heat shields

I don't think it is FA but its design resembles the A1.

Not FA. It's a Sporter. $200 for parts or to let guests use so they don't hog my Stag.

You can build one new for $550 that's not all beat to hell.

Olympic/Century A-1 clone, probably cast receiver. It's worthless, except maybe for parts, especially since the flash hider looks to be weilded on.

The lower is marked Centurion. Aren't they an importer? Could this be a foreign copy imported? I can't make out the other markings.

Take it to the range before you buy it. If you get it cheap enough it might be worth playing with. A can of Duracoat and a good cleaning go a long way. Think of it like buying a surplus rifle...

That is a Century International Arms, Inc. AR-15 and they are not known for being the best on the quality list.

Eta: I just checked their product line, and they don't even have AR-15s listed at CIA anymore...

ETA2: If the seller paid $1,200 for that rifle, he got screwed!

ETA3: He purchased that in 1994, after the AWB. In 1992, there was NO reason to have a brake on the end of an AR-15 because flash suppressors were still legal. That would also explain why he paid $1,200 for it; even though I almost bought a Colt Sporter in 1994 for $800. I think Dealer cost on the CAI POS AR-15s prior to the ban was in the $300 to $400 range.... Talk about one helluva profit.
