25 with a highly customized, scoped, semiauto .22lr? Yea, I guess that makes me a Rifleman?
A one inch group at 25 yards is a four inch group at 100 yards or 20 inches at 500 yards. That's a pretty good range. Even more impressive, of course, with a stock rifle and iron sights.

I know, I was commenting on the qualification being rather easy. My marlin model 60 is very good for it. I scoped it, though, because I wanted to shoot it at 100 yards and my eyes are going to hell.video aside, this can be done with a stock 10/22 with iron sights. it's not easy.

25 yards, though, benching it, this is a great way to get a bunch of people interested in shooting accurately and working on fundamentals, though, and not setting the bar so high that they feel discouraged.
