You know better than using an unWoke term like “keister.”
    Jheesh.
Everyone knows it’s now a “prison wallet.”

You know you’re from Louisiana when you’re facing the apocalypse and everyone is sharing TEOTWAWKI recipes….
As long as you have a solid roux as a foundation and plenty of rice you can eat almost anything. I once had an old Cajun dude tell me at length that if you don’t have any flour you can still make an acceptable brown gravy with just onions and time. That, a few beers and some gar fish and you’re in business. He’ll not miss a beat after the apocalypse.

I've been training for something like this for a while now.

What do you think is the best food to stock up on?
Patriot supply has that good 25 year and pretty good selection and prices. I sampled before I bought and found everything to be very decent. It’s all in the prep and your choice of seasoning. I don’t plan on eating that alone, I have a lot of other stuff stored from beans/rice/pasta to flour/oil/cornmeal and plenty of canned and frozen food stuffs. That coupled with some egg layers and a little gardening and fish and game are all in my game plan.
