Arrow question plz help

So i got my arrows cut today and the correct inserts glued in. But the field points I bought the threads are too big. I bought 75 grain 18/64 field tips and the threads seem too big. Any idea what I might need?

Take everything back together. They will know what you need at the shop. If the don't kick them in the nuts, tell them to learn their business, and go to a real archery shop.

I ran into this problem myself but found I had actually stripped the threads of the insert. Did this happen on all your arrows or just a couple?


Also... I find it hard to believe you are shooting 75 grain field tips... How long are your arrows and how many pounds is your bow tuned to? I'm drawing around 29" and 65lbs and my arrows are around 350grains with 100 grain tips. I'm shooting Gold Tip 5575 Pro Hunters.

average is 7g / lbs. I'm shooting light at around 5.3g/lbs

must be a real heavy shaft.

Also, your field points should be the same weight as your broad heads. 75 grains sounds light to me, but I'm no expert.
