ATT 3G network down?

Anyone else not able to get on the 3G network today in the NOLA area? The 4 people I asked from St Bernard Parish to Jefferson to St Charles parish could not get on 3G at all today.

Anyone else experience the same thing?

I was in Gonzales/Baton Rouge all day and mine didn't work from about 1100am to 8pm.

I work in Lulling and didn't have it all day. Got it back in Prairieville around 6pm.

3 people at work today couldn't get online with there phones either.....All Iphones in Lafayette area.

Myself and my gf still can't get 3g.

On an iphone go to settings>general>network> then disable 3g.

Internet works fine on edge.

Metairie 3g still down. Edge works but is slow. On wifi for now.

According to their Customer Service Department, AT&T Network was/is down in Arkansas and Louisiana. AT&T knows about the problem. They have no idea how long it will take to repair it.

Maybe with all of the oil spewing out in the gulf has tilted the earth off it's axis...

Mine worked flawlessly all day long. I watched movies fine, only thing slow to load was Gmail.

I didn't look to see if it was EDGE or 3G though. If it wasn't 3G, it was EDGE on steroids...

it was a regional outage, florida, louisiana, texas, arkansas mississippi..

A friend of mine was having trouble, he called AT&T they gave him a $25 credit.

I had no 3G today. I was pissed thinking it was my phone, glad it's not just me.

Same here, checking e-mails from gbundersea as I'm buying a house..........nothing for most of the afternoon. It seems to be working better but at home I'm on wifi though. Being this is my only phone (no land line) I'm screwed when the network goes down! Maybe I need to get a $25 credit, Damn you AT&T!!!

One of our friends knows a high ranking rep from ATT. They are advising 3 to 5 days on repairs.
My family has 3 phones. They better give me some type of relief. Dammit this is a recession. My daughter uses her babysitting money to pay for her fees.

I had this problem with two previous iPhones. It was a software problem on the phone itself. Apple replaced the phone twice. Haven't had a dropped call since.
