I'm experimenting with the 45/70. Right now I'm looking for some test media to compare penetration on different bullet weights, designs and velocities. Does anyone know of a cost effective way to do this? I've tried hitting up people for telephone books and newspapers but in this day and age nobody keeps them anymore. Ballistic gel in the footage necessary is expensive. Does anyone else have any other ideas?
