There really is nothing to feel about this at all.
They bought it and we have to deal with it.
It will be very close to a monopoly; bet the prices plummet at first to destroy smaller businesses with a rapid increase in price as the market is dominated.
It's a Walmart strategy and it works extremely well.
    We're likely hosed.

For what its worth, I talked to some employees today at cabelas and expressed my thoughts about the buyout.

They told me that it's going to be a merge more than a buyout, they didn't seem to be very concerned about it.

They also said it's still going to be a Cabelas store selling Cabelas brand. Dunno.....we shall see....

I am surprised the SEC allowed this to take place because of monopolizing. This has to be damn close to it... jmho.

Hmmm... the SEC in this administration is going to protect the best interest of the shooting pubic? nope. Or would they rather have one player in the hunting and shooting game (other than lots of mom and pops) that can be bought, badgered, and controlled?
