Benjamin Discovery -

I bought a Benjamin Discover from YoungMarine and I'm more than happy with the first few days of ownership.

This rifle is a absolute tackdriver and I'm looking forward to tweaking it a bit more.



This is 2 two shot groups! About 11 yards with open sights. I shot twice, made a rear sight adjustment and shot another two. These were my first shots.

Here's a group of 6 from 16 yards with open sights..



These measured .72" center to center.

Last night I mounted a new Bushnell 4-12x40 AO on
Leapers rings.



The optics are really nice and build quality is excellent. Paid 99.95 through PyramydAir.

Looked through the scope last night into my flood lit backyard and the target was amazingly clear.

Starlings and house sparrows are in serious trouble this year- my main targets here.

I'm waiting on a TKO V muzzle brake which will virtually silence it. (Tko22.com)

Trigger is very good, but at some point I will drop in the Marauder trigger unit.

Waiting on a scuba tank to arrive. For now, I'm still using charge of air that Matt provided when I picked it up. Might have to go to my buddy's house today and borrow some air to get another full charge.

Here's my first results with the new scope. .23" group. 16 yards. I'm so psyched about this rifle.!!! A bit loud for an airgun, but that will be taken care of when the new TKO V baffle arrives.

Trigger could be a lot better. It's too wide and the corners bug me. I'll take care of that soon enough. Plan on dropping in the Marauder unit later on.
