I plan to order some 9mm sample packs from bayou bullets. I would appreciate your opinions as to the best wt. and style
of bullet to use In a 1911 Ro. They will be for target practice as well as steel challenge. Thanks for any help.

Give Donnie a call and tell him what you are wanting to do. He also shoots a 9mm 1911 in competition and will give you solid advice.

I've used the 124 gr LRN in a G 19, G 34, and CZ 75 SP-01. They worked well in all of them (the glocks all had Lone Wolf barrels). I haven't quite dialed in my load like Vigilante Sniper has (see thread http://www.bayoushooter.com/forums/showthread.php?140498-9mm-Bayou-Bullit-Reloads) Vigilante has a great spread sheet with tons of loads that he has used with all the different weight Bayou Bullets in 9mm. Definitely send him a PM.
