Well, this is a stuff for competition question, so I thought it would go here.

I have not bought a new bipod in about a decade. What is the hot poop these days.

Will go on a 308 in an AICS....primarily FPR and tactical matches.

Although I do not have one but I have shot with one and really liked it, take a look at the sinclair tactical. Like the Atlas it too has it's pluses and minuses. You might want to shoot w/ what you have for now and take a look at what others have at the matches before getting too deep. Or you could just go buy a Harris and have Ritten work his magic, I hear that he works wonders for a Harris bipod... :dogkeke:

Bill, hands down the best set up I have found is a Big Dog Steel AICS bipod adapter with the Harris screw and a Sinclair Tactical Bipod for shooting FPR and F Class. Solid as a rock.
As for tactical matches, may be a bit heavy/bulky though.
I do have 2 set ups like this if you want to come to a match for a test ride.
