I hope this is the best area to post this.

I recently purchased a well-used 870P, and it seriously needs some TLC, haha. There are some small dings and dents that I can live with, but I'm not opposed to having them fixed or removed if possible to do inexpensively. It definitely needs to be refinished, though, and I'd like to do it in the next month or two.

I'm looking for someone to Cerakote it in the Baton Rouge area, preferably someone who you guys have prior experience with their Cerakoting work. Nothing fancy, just one color on the metal only, and maybe redoing the small parts black (action bars, trigger guard, bolt, etc).

    Thanks!

I've gotten an upper and lower done at Green Dragon and would go back again if I wasn't planning to invest in some DuraCoat. FYI, If you go, walk through the gate on the right. His shop is a building in the backyard. I'm sure I'm not the first person to knock on the front door although his wife was quite pleasant about it.

I appreciate the feedback. I was hoping to find someone closer to Gonzales/Baton Rouge, but I'm willing to travel a little farther if the work is worth it. I'll definitely get in touch with him when I'm ready.

I'm open to any other suggestions, and thanks for the responses so far.

I second Plate-Tacular in St. Amant. I've had done work done there, great quality and Daniel's a great guy...

I thought about him, but I wasn't sure if he was still doing this type of stuff.

I've met Mr. Hidalgo once before, and he was definitely a nice guy.

I sold a gun to another forum member here who was offshore and wanted to get it refinished, so I met up with Mr. Hidalgo to drop it off to him as a favor to the buyer. I never did get to see the finished product in person. It's actually the hot pink M&P9c on the front page of his website, haha.

I'm still alive, just kinda private and happened to run across this. Just rebuilt the shop after the flooding, made a major upgrade. Home was safe but old shop was toast. Rolling along well and really don't need to advertise because I have plenty to do but always fit folks in. Turnaround is about 2 weeks or less, give or take. I've done a ton of flood guns for almost free in the last year because so many folks lost everything. If I can help anybody out feel free to contact, I'm easy to find and I treat every gun like it's mine...
