Best Stun Gun or Taser for $100 and under?

I am fairly ignorant on these products. A female friend who can't carry firearms and refuses to use pepper spray is looking for a taser or stun gun for personal protection. Any help is appreciated.

The problem she is going to have with a stun gun is you have to touch them with it. So i don't recommend her buying one. The best option in my opinion is the taser it shoots the prongs up to 15 feet and is an 30 second ride. But the price of one is around $400. The other problem you have with a stun gun is as soon as contact is broken with the stun gun there is no more pain so the attacker can resume his attack. Just my 2 cents take it for what its worth.

I agree. They are limited on budget, have a wedding coming up. Shes going to try to convince her fiance to upgrade to the C2.
