Bowfishing?

Anybody done any bowfishing in the Bonne Carre Spillway? I've heard there are some good spots and I've always wanted to try...

yes, i have a good place to go. no boats are needed. at nite its fun to fight the fish on a pole. pretty good fishing from the good banks. the water is so clear you can see reds, gar, and drum. bring a net in june july for the crabs sitting on logs an stumps

I really think I am going to look into bowfishing. I've never really even shot or owned a bow, but it just seems like it'd be a really good time in the right conditions. Maybe I could use a crossbow for added comfort and ease

it is a blast my brother an some friends went this past weekend an baged 2 6ft. garfish. i am on vac. in 2 weeks i am going to grandisle in the marsh hope to have some pics. to share.

you can do the guided bowfishing trips out of grand isle to try it out. I think is is louisiana bow fishing.

man we go to pawn shops an find old cheap bow an go to acdamey an put it together an u don't need all kind of **** get a reel an the cheap ones work good get u string 2 r 3 arrows an u go from there do it cheap to start so if u don't like it ant no big deal

My boat is in dry dock at a friend's house for a little while, but I'm ready to perforate some fishes.
