I heard that when Paul taught the class he scouted out a map to the nearest hospital. This seems like a good idea to post here, maybe even put up pin in it...

I'd hate to imagine an accident happening out there but things do go wrong sometimes. And I'm not just worried about GSW. I was out there a few months ago and had a snake next to my truck in the grass. Some people are allergic to bee or spider bites, etc...

I would assume that Northshore just off I-10 on Gausse would be closest, but I have no clue if there's something closer in MS. Anyone know?

That is what I thought but he said up what ever that Hwy was to one in Mississippi.

Maybe someone with a gps cant put it in and ask for the nearest hospital:dunno:

So it appears that it may be a wash in distance; but with traffic the one on Gause might take longer. Having said that and not knowing much about Highland community I might opt for northshore

If you blow through the Stennis gate you come out directly on 43. It's around 10 minutes from the BZ to the ER.

I didn't mention this factoid during the range session, but people use Stennis as an illicit shortcut for all sorts of reasons. Someone pumping blood'll probably get a pass.
