Went to the BZ for the first time today. Since it was the first nice weekend day in a while I expected lots of company. Zip, zero, nada for the first couple of hours, and then one person showed up as we were finishing up.

It was flooded somewhat, mostly at midrange, and too deep for my low boots, but we did get in some shooting anyway, just not all we wanted to.

Nice place if we can keep it clean and pack out what we bring in. I will be back.

Flip-flops FTMFW! I think my toes now have lead poisoning, though...lol

No way would I wear flip-flops in that water with all that shot-up metal and glass.

BTW, went there today (5 Oct) and water had gone down some, enough to get around it on the right side.

I am contemplating going to the BZ. The idea of shooting my weapons on federal property and the chance that Homeland Security could show up worries me. idc what the local good old boys say. Feds have a way of messing with ya..

I did lock up the neighbors dog after I posted the above statement since I dont have one.
