Spoke to a very nice young lady @ the NFA branch today.

    1) Form 4's are taking about 2 months to go pending (from the check clearing). This is consistent with my own results.

    2) Estimated wait is 9 months FROM PENDING.

    3) eForms have sped up the process - Once properly submitted, it's IMMEDIATELY pending, and you shave about 6 weeks off of the data entry portion.

    4) Still at 12 examiners. No official "newly hired examiners" but there are a few in training, and they will become official at some point soon.

    5) There has been a massive increase in Form4's due to the proposed Trust changes. These are clogging up an already overburdened system.

    6) The guys at the NFA branch don't have anything to do with the changes coming down the pipe - these decisions are made "higher up" and they're justpushing paper to the best of their abilities.
