The LSP website tells us "this is a complicated issue." I call BS on that. In Louisiana, this issue isn't complicated at all- until you run into someone who doesn't understand the law.

And it's worse when it's someone who thinks they do

So that you are clear on this, they are talking about LA law. Other states differ in laws. States such as AL and TN do not allow loaded handguns with a recognized permit. Many states require it to be unloaded locked in a case. If you are a traveler, check out this book.
