I have a mete mc9. Size wise it is in between a G26 and Shield 9mm. Very good trigger and the flush mag holds 12.

If it helps any, they are based on the ppq and pdp guns. They field strip like glocks and some of the internals are like Glock’s

I was at a gunstore today and was checking them out. The owner and I connected because we both love Shadow Systems but I don't love the angle of the grip. The Canik, one of the SF METE, felt really nice and the trigger is probably one of the best out the box. The owner who usually carries a MR920 changed his primary to the Canik. He had a MR920 coming in today and could have just pointed me in that direction and would have made a lot more money when I bought it. After we talked he handed me the Canik and asked me to present it. It was automatically more natural and on target where with Glock style guns I have intentionally flick my wrist to get the barrel up. He didn't have any 365s in but we also looked at a Hellcat Pro. I still want to shoot them to compare but the Canik had the best trigger and better feel.

They have a nice trigger pull and reset. I personally think they’re worth it as the price on them are affordable. I haven’t heard anything bad about them and they have plenty of different models with some great upgrades.

I have 3 TP’s and a little METE. They’ve all been good to me. Can’t say I’ve heard anything negative about them. Turkish goodness

LOL! Thought I was having de ja vu or something, but I didn’t go there.
I have 3 Canik's and love them.... well love the SC and Combat Elite, haven't shot my MC9 yet but I'll love that one too. have had zero issues with them

Last year I purchased a Canik TP9 DA and it has been reliable, accurate, and fun to shoot. Came with a four inch barrel, two 18 round 9mm magazines, and an OWB holster for under $370.00. I have run close to 1000 rounds through it with no failure. As for size it looks to me roughly between the Glock 17 and 19. Great purchase for anyone on a budget. I read and hear a lot of good things about Turkish guns like Canik and Tisas. Quality clones of far more expensive (and unaffordable for me) German brands like Walther and American brands like Colt and S&W 1911.

I've been looking at the TP9SFX pretty hard lately and even went to Academy to handle one, but they just installed trigger locks so you can't really get a feel for the trigger on it.
The freedom Smith trigger for them used to be around $50. It was a nice upgrade over an already nice polymer gun trigger.

I could not be happier with my Caniks. I have a few and each has its own "pleasure factor". The Elite SC is excellent for CC and the Rival-S is a blast at the range. Everything else is just as fun and reliable. The triggers are comparable to Walther PDP, Q series or older P-99. All of my triggers are around 3.5-3.75 lbs.

The factory trigger is my favorite thing about my TP9 DA. Very short reset that is quite tactile and easy to hear. And I like the decocker that turns it into a DA/SA as a substitute for a thumb safety if I am carrying iT.

Dudes swear up and down by them, they offered competitive pricing for what they usually include but that was back in 2020. Just never got one because I was into 1911s at the time.
