Well I had some time off scheduled from work the week that Hurricane Ida hit, so that was pushed to the side as we dealt with that. Luckily I was able to move it to this week and got some work done on the Jeep. I started the rewiring of the Jeep and also added parts and pieces that have to be reinstalled. I bought a wiring harness from a Jeep parts supplier that makes an exact replica of the original harness which makes it way simpler. My original wiring harness was in pretty good shape so that helped also. My middle son has been helping me too which is nice as those young brain cells come in handy for figuring where the wires go. I also cleaned and painted some more of the endless number of parts that have to be installed to put the Jeep back together.

Looks good. I always liked the color you went with. That factory color will have yours stand out in a good way.
Most are scared of doing a more unusual color.
I know I had guys that said my factory Code FM3 (Dodge) Panther Pink - (Plymouth) Moulin Rouge would look horrible. But changed once they saw the whole project done.
Keep up.the steady progress and before you know it your done.

That is a cover on the ole mig welder that you are seeing. It’s a Hobart 210 MVP. Learning how to weld better with the mig welder is high on my list of things I want to accomplish during the next calendar year.

Nice work! In pic #3 is that a Hobart faceplate or sticker I see?
