Purchased a rifle from Classic Firearms recently, firearm was delivered last week.

On their website they lowered the price by $50, so I called and asked if I could get the $50
or a credit on a future purchase.

They were very firm in saying NO! Once you take delivery no price adjustments.

Their policy is listed on their site. Not that anyone would look at it prior to purchasing, but they are following their policy. Annoying and not too customer-friendly, but it is what it is.

    Pricing Statement

    1. Sale prices - If an item you previously purchased goes on sale at a lower price, you can receive the lower price ONLY if your item has not already been delivered to the shipping address on your order. Sale prices are valid for the sale period and only while supplies last.

Seems like a fair policy. Businesses move prices based on supply/demand/marketing campaigns.

After talking to them on the phone I did not feel warm fuzzies.

Seriously, the reason I posted is to let people know their policy.

A lot of places give 30 days for lower prices, after purchase. Obviously, as consumers, we want that. Mostly larger chains. I think that internet businesses give the impression that they are larger than they really are, so they are probably just trying to protect their margins. The e-mail for CF is Beltwayandpawn@hotmail.com, so they ain't Cabelas. Lol.
