They only offered 2.1 billion as opposed to 3.2 from MCN's offer.

Prague-based defense firm CSG raised the purchase price for the proposed deal to buy Kinetic Group by $100 million to $2.1 billion, Vista said.

They were 2 different offers - CSG is paying 2.1 billion to buy the Kinetic Group only (ammo brands) which is a part of Vista Group. MNC wanted to buy the entire company which includes all of the gear/outdoor stuff/clothing lines for $3.2 billion.

I completely agree, but without some legal protection, the Board would be sued if they don't maximize shareholder value. If our politicians were ACTUALLY 2A friendly, they would mandate that certain industries have to be domestically owned. You know, like TikTok...

There's still time to buy the stock and come out ahead on that deal. The only gun stocks I have are RGR and SWBI. I am tempted to snag me some VSTO before it happens.
