I have been by Slidell Arms twice in as many weeks around 3:30 both days and the open sign was lit up, but interior lights were off and door was locked...

Does anyone know if they are still open?

He's right around the corner from me now. I had the same problem, the first 5 times I stopped by, he was either closed or out running an errand. He's still open though, just stopped in a couple days ago. Was hoping to have more of an inventory to look over, but there were only like 3 old S&W revolvers in the display case.

He had a good selection of long guns though.

I went by on Tuesday. He was closed, but the sign on the door was partly legible, and said something about getting his license renewed.

I hear they might have been bought out.....

Dave told me that he bought out the the others and will be eventually be changing everything to his own company. That is a process and time consuming.

The hours there lately have been hard to keep up with but maybe once the new FFL and all gets going then it will be okay and back to normal.
