Just figured I would ask if anyone else out there has had any problems with their CMC trigger.
I have the 3.5# curved single stage in an Aero M5 lower that has given me reset issues since I put it in. I have put about 250 rounds thru my rifle with this trigger and at times it has taken me having to nudge the trigger forward or or pull and release a dead trigger a few times to get it to reset. The other night I removed this one and put it in an Aero M4 lower and it did the same thing where the trigger I removed from the M4 to M5 performed as it should. At this time I noticed that the trigger now in the M4 lower had some wobble and the trigger in the M5 was snug. I swapped the triggers back and the one which had wobble in the M4 lower also had wobble in the M5 lower but the other was again snug as well in the M4 lower. I also measured the width of each trigger shoe at the bottom of each side plate and they measured the same of .3075. This is my third CMC trigger, the first two have been awesome so far.
I have called CMC and talked to Charles, described the problem to him and he at first was saying that the wobble can be corrected by slightly bending the side plates out at the corners just a hair. But he also said that he would like to get his hands on it to measure a few things to see if he can find the problem. So I will be removing the trigger again tonight to put it in the mail tomorrow. Just hope when I get it back the problem is corrected.
Will post updates as I get them.
