    Yea, let's see what Government adopts .22LR as their sidearm caliber of choice.

    they look nice for the price but its not a true colt just the name they need to make the one that is called a gold cup in stainless steel

    Interesting. I haven't paid much attention to 1911s lately, but good to see commander size 22 conversions out there. I have a couple Ti commander frames that haven't been built yet, but I'd love to put .22's on them for the kids at some point in the future.

    Sorry if I confused the issue... :hs: The Kimber conversion is 5". I was saying I run it on my Commander frame. I am not aware of any ~4" conversion kits.

    . . . and a 5" .45 slide should run fine on a commander, too. Especially if it has a flgr just to make sure the spring doesn't get pinched.
