I echo this, too many Pol. making a career out of making laws that WE! have to follow but they don't. kick them after 8 years they should have stolen enough by then.

We have somewhere north of 20,000 gun laws on the books today. Why does anyone think that one or two more lawrs are going to do the trick? It is the the most clear example of Einstein's definition of insanity (doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results) I can think of.

It makes it clear, at least to me, that the goal is NOT to save lives or stop "Gun Violence"(propaganda term) but simply to increase the power of the govt over its citizens and to have additional means to punish political dissidents.
