Ok, Louisiana. It's summertime. It's hot. It's time to head to the pool or the beach to cool off. Those of you that carry everyday like I do, what do you do when it's time to take a dip? At my family's place with people I can trust (and no kids), I stow nearby, Condition 3. But what about the beach? Or a c o-workers pool party and bbq?

Anybody carry in the water? Can always clean after.
    Stow it in your car?
Stow it nearby in a purse or beach bag?
Do something else to beat the heat?
What's the best solution for you??

I usually keep my FAL with me. In case of kick burglars.

AITWB 44Mag revolver in my thong. Not sure why I never get invited back...

In all seriousness, I might carry off body, but only if someone was always watching the guns while others were swimming. If I really thought I needed to carry at the beach/pool, would just stay home.

I carry my Glock 19 in an ITAC (in the ass crack) kydex holster. The 19 never rusts, always goes bang and the kydex is very water friendly. I found leather would swell and change shape a little.

This is sarcastic, just in case one of you tries shoving a kydex holster up your ass.

I hope you knocked off the front sight post first.

Sent via telegraph with the same fingers I use to sip whiskey.

no gun on the beach but did see a guy put all his valuables (wallet, keys, cash) in a diaper and wrap it up looking just like a used diaper. I wouldn't touch it if I hadn't seen him do it....lol

You know, I was actually thinking about this today. I am going on a river float trip out of state next week and was trying to figure out how to carry. I was thinking about the zip lock bag and a fanny pack or just in a back pack in the kayak.
