...Or...what about a holster sewn onto the back of the bib itself? That would allow very fast access, and the shoulder harness of the overalls itself would support the weapon. Sideways mount? Canted? Pretty much any way you wanted to mount it from that point.

    Hope this helps.

    Very interesting idea!

Everyone who carries on a daily basis has to adjust their wardrobe to suit their carrying needs. It's been twenty years since I wore overalls. But they do have hip pockets like jeans right? How about a pocket holster with a gun suited to that size?

Otherwise I'd suggest moving out of the freaking swamp or woods and dress like a grown up.

The smart carry seems notable...anybody use it?

I have two Smart-carry's; one for a J-frame Scandium and one for the KelTec .380.

It takes a little getting used to, especially since I must remain seated most of the day.

Try shifting the Smart-carry a little off to one side, and it is a lot more comfortable.

I personally believe that the smart-carry would work a lot better if it had a slight "cant" built-in.

If you don't have to sit down a lot, it should be fine.

what about sewing some velcro into the front of your bibs on all your overalls and using something like this.
