As far as I am concerned; Huntsman disqualified himself from any future candidacy by his attack / reply to Bachman.

If he can't tell the difference between liberal "talking points" and reality, he doesn't belong in ANY public office.

I thought Romeny and Bachman started strong . However Gingwich really opened it up with attacking the media and Obamanonics. Excuse the spelling on these names but, it's late,

I know ,I know Gingwich has alot of baggage to over come . If you have listen to him in the past there's no doubt he is intelligent .
I know nothing about Perry, leVieux. I do know we deserve better that what we now have!

You can tell by my pic who I thought won, but what I noticed more than anything is the moderators seemed to be trying to make highlights by asking loaded question and not getting into issues and policy.

I am no fan of Newt, but I am glad he chewed some ass and called the moderators out on the ******** questions.

    Our media is **** poor.

Actually , I thought Ron Paul didn't do that great of a job . He doesn't have a realistic grasp of foreign policy and how to deal with terrorism and terrorists . He's not a complete package .

Ron Paul is my first choice. Rick Perry is probably my second. Mitt-for-brains Romney will likely cause a 3rd party vote strong enough to get Obama re-elected. We cannot survive another term of this POS.

Ron Paul won. Rick Santorum got his hind end handed to him by Paul. Santorum blew off the Constitution (the 10th Amendment) and invoked some vague "moral mission" of the US Government. Santorum was a cocky little punk.

Everybody else was bickering with each other (I got tired of the Pawlenty vs. Bachman whizzing match that went on forever), Newt was defending his own sorry legacy. They were all just chest beating the flag, giving us feel good statements and bumper sticker slogans.

Paul answered questions confidently, directly and showed that he thinks outside the box. That's what we need

What else? Three words: Trans Texas Corridor

He's a centralist after the heart of Alexander Hamilton, Henry Clay and Abraham Lincoln. The true legacy of the Republican party

I seem to like Perry. He had the guts to have prayer publicly and put it on the internet; he doesn't fear or is ignorant of his rights. I like him, but will this country elect another Texan?

sleezy politicians do that all the time in the Bible belt. They show up at the local megachurch, say a prayer, give a "testimony" as a thinly veiled campaign speech telling people "I'm a christian, I'm one of you, vote for me." Speaking of Texans, Bush did this too. As did/does Bobby Jindal. I've learned not to be impressed by it....in fact I'm suspicious of it

Ron Paul was on top the whole time, you can tell by the applause and respect everyone else had for him... Ron definately has the big stick when it comes to presence but he isn't a charmismatic leader like Mitt, Newt, and Cain.. not a bad thing, i personally like the calm and direct answers.. every other candidate was only mimicing what Ron Paul has been saying for thirty years... Liberty and Freedom, here we come! i can't wait to see the debate between Obama and Ron Paul!

Doug you give me the idea that you rather have a political figure attending (or pretending ) to be christians like Jermiah Wright . Have you forgotten ? http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/DemocraticDebate/story?id=4443788&page=1

Just to play the other side, I really think the applause for Ron Paul had some large part to do with the debate being on a college campus, and I would assume there was a large population of teenagers and people in their low 20's in the audience.

Clear up a point for me. On a college campus, would you be referencing their age or IQ.
