"Delayed" while purchasing a firearm today...

I've been through the delay/no delay also. Only problem was at Academy. Got delayed, and asked if they'd call me or should I just come back after the 3 day wait. They very snootily told me that they would NOT sell me a firearm until they got an OK back from ATF no matter how long it took. I told them forget it I'd go elsewhere.

Same issue here with Academy. It is their store policy, if you are not approved nor denied, they will not sell to you. The salesman was not to happy about it himself.
