Diamond shooting range on Choctaw?

I passed by what seemed to be a shooting range that I've never noticed before on Choctaw Dr. between Airline and Sherwood. Is this a new place? Does anyone know the price to shoot? Are AK's permitted?

Really ? When was the last time you were there? I happen to shoot there often and don't see that.

Troy, the guy that runs it seems like a real nice guy, he's even offerd to open up the range on Sundays to BS if we wanted to go shoot, have a BBQ and whatever.
He's normally closed on Sundays
He's in the process of putting in electronic targets, its kept real clean.

He does lots of CC classes and qualifiying for Guards and stuff

I was going to post this the other day. Have not been back since it was Wills place. It's closer to my house than Precision I just figured it must suck since no one talks about going there anymore. So besides the baggy pants crowd whats it like now? Any dumb rules, etc?

Troy is a class act.

I've done a lot of "product testing" there for a nearby weapons manufacturer.

The range is always neat and clean.

I wouldn't worry about saggers, Troy won't tolerate a lot of crap.

I haven't been there recently, but the only person I ever saw with saggy pants was a skinny white guy shooting an AR.

The other people I saw there where what looked to be security guards in uniform with someone giving them shooting instructions, and women with B/Fs shooting pistols.

The place is nothing to fret.

I also can vouch for Troy, he runs a good place. A lot of private guard companies use it for training.

I shot there once this summer. Don't know if it was Will or Troy who was runnin the place, me and a couple of friends went there around 7 at night and shot till 9, only people on the range.

Neither me.

But it was a flip of the coin as to what "mood" he'd be in. Several times I went in there, and he actually GLOWERED at me. Never said a word, but the look was distinctly hostile.

He's that way with a lot of people until he gets to know you.
